Morgan and I were on one of our fun family road trips when Bailey’s inquiry came to my email account. I always get a little giddy when I see that subject line but when I opened this one, I immediately knew that she was MY bride! The vibrant colors that she was planning were enough to make me swoon and they chose Dickey Lake Bible Camp as their venue, which is one of my most favorite lakes in our area! Morgan almost packed the girls up and brought them out. It’s one of his favorites too!

When I met them in real life at their engagement session, I found out they were saving their kisses for their “first kiss”. Be still my hopeless romantic heart, amiright? We had so much fun at that photo shoot. They have the best friendship and I couldn’t wait for their big day!

When we arrived at camp, her amazing day of coordinator was busy finishing the set up so WE got busy photographing all the pretty! The color combos were so perfect and since Bailey recently started her job at Mum’s, she put all the floral arrangements together. They were perfection, of course. I loved incorporating so many of the floral touches with her detail photos.

The ceremony was heartfelt and sentimental. It was probably the hottest part of the entire day, but the views made it worth it! That big Montana sky came out to play and it was beautiful. Although Bailey had to hang on to the microphone stand at one point, I think the heat was more intense than we all anticipated but, again, TOTALLY worth it! They shared their first kiss and the walk back down the aisle was the most fun celebration I have ever photographed! Be sure to check those out in the gallery below!

The reception was exactly what they wanted! Celebrating at their favorite place surrounded by their favorite people. Everything came together perfectly and they were able to just have fun and relax! They even ended their hot hot day by jumping into the lake! It really was the perfect day and I love love love that I got to be your photographer!
