I definitely looked forward to this wedding all summer. Julia has the most amazing taste, I just knew her wedding would wow us all. All day I kept hearing the words “classic” and “timeless” and it truly was! They chose black and white as their theme. We all know how I love me some black and white. The décor was elegant and romantic. It was like taking a step back in time, yet modern all at once.
Of course Julia was surrounded by all of her gorgeous sisters and some pretty incredible friends. This was one of my bigger bridal parties and they all were so supportive of this amazing couple. It was a dream to spend the day with them! I loved how Connor’s guys never once complained and they were up for literally anything! My particular favorite was the superman toss!
They chose the Jewel Basin Event Center and tied the knot on the pickleball course. Only Julia could make a pickleball court look as amazing as it did! We had a little bit of smoke but the mountains were still visible as a perfect backdrop for their ceremony and we had a little break in the heat, which was dreamy, to say the least.
We snuck away to Eagle Bend for their sunset portraits and returned to a delicious dinner, put on by her family and friends. Right before dinner, they were serenated by Julia’s brother-in-law and after dinner, they continued the celebration with heartfelt speeches from their siblings and parents and best friends and then danced the night away over a black and white checkered dance floor.
This one will go down in history as one of the most joyful, most relaxed and most romantic weddings I’ve been lucky to photograph. Thank you guys for having me! It was truly an honor to be your photographer!
