This was my very first wedding at the gorgeous Triple B Ranch in Columbia Falls. I have always been an admirer of the property and I was SO excited when Amy reached out to me with all of her amazing plans. When she told me she was an event coordinator at Big Sky, I, of course, got excited because she’s been there, done that as many times, if not more than I have! This was not her first rodeo and OH my gosh, she was showing off with this one. Just wait until you scroll down and see all of the dreamy photos!
When she told me that she is originally from NYC, my Kiralee heart skipped a dang beat because, if you know me well, you know that I have ALWAYS wanted to visit that city. I dream about it often and someday I will make it there, but even knowing this little tid bit made me giddy! Meeting all of her guests that came in was also a blast! The accents and the stories, all the things. I loved every moment.
Scott’s family is generations of Montanans and mixing these two worlds together was the perfect combo. I firmly believe that the universe brought these two together and it was 100% on purpose.
Amy chose metals as her colors. I didn’t fully understand what she meant until she sent me some photo examples and seeing it all come together in real life was the icing on the cake. One of the coolest color schemes I have ever photographed! Neutral and vibrant all at the same time… and we all know how much I love color. She paired everything perfectly together, just wait until you see Scott’s suit and tie!
They had a traditional catholic ceremony at the St. Richard Catholic Church in Columbia Falls. Scott’s uncle officiated. Having family involved with such an important part of the day is always my favorite AND he was there to give the blessing when the reception started.
Dinner was delicious and Debi with cakes by Debi made them the most beautiful 4 tier wedding cake. Classic and timeless are the words that come to mind with this entire soiree!
When the dance floor opened, almost every person in attendance jumped up and joined in. We always love when we get to photograph a good party. They had a shot ski as their guest book, which was probably the coolest thing we’ve ever seen and of course they had to use it a few times at the reception!
We snuck out right at sunset and ventured all over the property for one of the prettiest montana evenings we’ve been blessed with.
We feel so honored to have been your photographers! I hope you enjoy my favorite images from your big day!!
Special thanks to all of the wonderful vendors!
