Okay, just give me ALL the joyful, romantic, COLORFUL weddings. This one was for the books!
From the first time I met Corey and Kelly, I knew their wedding would be magic. It was the most perfect day with the best weather we could have asked for! Cloudy without rain, cool temps without it being freezing and we even had a peek a boo sunset at the end of the night.
One of the most interesting parts of this wedding was how involved our groom was. Corey was on top of everything and planned every detail of the timeline. Kelly was in charge of the gorgeous decorations and the special touches but I loved how much Corey was involved! It is rare to see a groom do so much on the big day! He is also one of the most organized people I have ever met, they even talked about that during the vows! Leah and I decided that the two of them would make the best wedding planning team ever!
We loved her entrance in the vintage car and their vows to each other were so heartfelt and romantic but it was also obvious how good their friendship is. When Corey couldn’t get the car started after the “I do’s” they just laughed it off and continued on! Authenticity is my most favorite thing to photograph.
Destination DJ worked the room for the reception and The Kopper Kitchen put together a delicious dinner. They did cookies instead of cake and the signature drinks were such a fun touch, as well as the homemade granola that Kelly’s mom made. It was delicious, btw!
This was such a fun way to start my season and I was so lucky to be the photographer for this amazing couple. Congratulations, again and I wish you both ALL the happiness!!
