Jayci + Lucas – A joy filled rainy wedding day at Abayance Bay – Eureka, Montana Wedding

Eureka has a special place in my heart. Even when it’s pouring rain, it’s still one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen and it’s especially gorgeous at Abayance Bay.

I have known Jayci since I photographed her brother’s wedding back in 2016. We were instantly friends and I have had the pleasure of following along as she met Lucas and added to their already adorable family, and now not only getting to watch them officially tie the knot and vow each other forever but I was also the lucky photographer who got to capture it all!

As you scroll through the images, you will see that there is one thing in common in each photo and that’s that they have unadulterated joy across their faces in pretty much every one. So much so, that I don’t think it was possible for them to NOT smile that day. It was so fun to see them together. They fit perfectly – as if they were put on earth for one another and the universe brought them together in the most amazing way! Seeing them with their sweet babies, and the emotions they were experiencing when it was time for the ceremony… I remember at one point I couldn’t even see through my lens! It is really hard to make sure you are in focus when there are tears in your eyes. 😭😍

My favorite part was when they danced down the aisle to Chris Brown’s “Forever” because Jayci wanted to include a little tribute… I think I had a literal heart eyes emoji on my face when she told me they love “The Office”. 😍😍😍

Another fun part of the day was when we put little Wrigley on mama’s dress before the ceremony. (totally Jayci’s idea 😍) and chasing Griffin around while he played in the sunshine and when they had their family dance! I think that was his most happiest moment of the day!
