It’s been a whirlwind since Bailey & Hayden’s wedding in August!  We got home from our little Montana adventure and school started the next day! We jumped right into the back to school schedule and I have been dreaming of our gorgeous summer we had and how amazing it was to have this gorgeous wedding as our end to it.

Bozeman was giving us some of the craziest lightning storms we have ever seen the night before the wedding. My hubby is a big fan of storm chasing so it was a highlight to our trip, but we definitely did NOT want that to follow us to the beautiful Roys Barn the following day.  We woke up to a rainstorm in the forecast, but instead of the rain, we got crazy wind! It came on right before the first look and Bailey and Hayden made it look romantic as ever. We did some portraits and photographed their amazing wedding party, just in case the rainy forecast made it’s debut and the friends they chose to stand next to them up there were so fun and made the most of the crazy weather with jokes and supportive words. You guys are so lucky to have such an amazing group! And instead of rain, the wind stopped just in time for the ceremony and didn’t come back the rest of the night and we never had one drop fall on us! We had dreamy clouds and even some gorgeous sunshine. They had already moved the tables into the 100 year old barn, but it only made this day more magical.

Their ceremony was beautiful and heartfelt. The officiant was wonderful and his message was one of the best I’ve ever heard.  After the ceremony, they did a photographed receiving line, which was a total first for me and absolutely brilliant. I plan to suggest that for all future weddings! Such a fun way to document all of the guests who came to celebrate and support!

We were blessed with an epic Montana sunset and they ended the evening with a pretty firework send off!
