This was such a fun way to end our 2016 wedding season!  I grew up with Marshel.  His family is basically our family so I was honored when he messaged me and told me that he and Tiffany wanted me to photograph their big day!  First, getting to photograph a friend’s wedding day is one of the most fun things you can do, but also it was a wedding that took place where I grew up!  The high-line is still one of my most favorite places to be.  There is a different kind of beauty over there.   I met Tiffany the day of her wedding!  We corresponded via Facebook leading up but I didn’t actually meet her until she was all dolled up, waiting to get into her dress!  I liked her immediately.  She honestly was exactly what I expected!  She is so kind and also, she’s hilarious.  Plus, she’s easy going.<–Huge bonus in my book!!  The whole day was so relaxed and even though it was a tad chaotic at times, it was absolutely perfect.  The wind did not blow at all… which is unheard of for Havre and it stopped raining!  It was almost like it was on purpose, just for these two.

They had a candlelit ceremony at the most beautiful church surrounded by all their friends and family. So many people came to celebrate these two that they had to add additional seating!  The reception was a blast, a room filled with so much laughter and happiness… and so many cute babies.   SO.MANY.cute.babies.

I got to see my old friends that I grew up with, half of them I hardly recognized!  It’s been so long and it was so awesome to see everyone.  It was fun to kind of be a guest as well as have the honor to capture such an amazing day.   Here are some of my favorites!
