Kendra & Tanner’s Fairytale Wedding at Diamond B Weddings

August 16th was straight out of a fairytale. Kendra and Tanner tied the knot at the gorgeous Diamond B Weddings, and everything about their day was pure magic. The whole theme was pink and purple (my favorite combo!) and it fit them so perfectly. 💜💗

The morning started with the sweetest moments. Kendra did a first look with her dad and oh my goodness—we were ALL crying. 🥹 Then came her first look with Tanner and wow… his reaction was everything. That’s the kind of love that makes you believe in happily-ever-afters. They also did private vows before the ceremony and honestly, I think every couple should do this! The wedding day goes by SO fast and this gave them a quiet little pocket of time together before the whirlwind began.

The ceremony itself was beautiful—even though it rained! 🌧️ These two just smiled through it all, and when the unity candle wouldn’t stay lit, they laughed it off like total pros. Then, as if on cue, the sun came out for the reception and gave us the prettiest rainbow. Talk about magical timing! 🌈

Their reception was packed with surprises, and one of the BEST was their choreographed first dance. You could tell they had practiced for months because it was flawless. Tanner even pulled off a lift that gave me total Dirty Dancing vibes—just a slower, romantic version. 💃🕺 It was such a showstopper moment and had the whole room cheering!

Another favorite surprise was when Kendra shared a dance with her mom, who recently beat cancer. None of us were ready for how emotional and special that moment was—there wasn’t a dry eye in the room. Her parents were so moved, and Tanner’s parents spent the entire day grinning ear to ear. Tanner’s dad’s speech was so heartfelt and really tied the evening together.

And I have to take a second to highlight Erickson Media. They were an absolute dream team to work alongside. Honestly, it felt like we were on the set of a real movie all day. 🎥 The way they worked seamlessly, captured the energy, and blended into the day while still being everywhere—they were incredible. With all of Mother Nature’s curveballs (rain, rainbows, pink mountains, and that sparkler exit!) the whole day could have easily been the script for the most romantic rom-com. I loved seeing them in some of my own photos because they truly were part of the story that day.

The details were chef’s kiss. The florals were stunning, the cake was gorgeous (I LOVED the mountain design on the bottom layer!), and then Mother Nature showed off with the most epic sunset—complete with pink mountains to match their wedding colors. 🌄 It felt like the whole world was celebrating with them.

They ended the night with a sparkler exit that was just as magical as the rest of the day. ✨ Truly the perfect send-off for such a sweet couple.
